Every patient has unique circumstances whether it be misaligned teeth or improper bites. Our orthodontic dentistry method closely examines your teeth during the first appointment. In some cases, dental impression models and x-rays may be taken to provide a better assessment.

Adult Orthodontics

We regularly work with adult patients who have chosen to improve their smile for professional or personal reasons. We enjoy working with adults and are pleased to offer Invisalign® the new technology in orthodontics. Invisalign is the clearest, most comfortable, and most hygienic orthodontic treatment available to patients.

Teenage Orthodontics

We also work with many teenage patients, offering them a variety of treatment options and teaching them to partner with us in the care of their teeth. We recommend Invisalign to our teenage patients because it is the kindest, gentlest and most hygienic way to correct orthodontic problems. The result is a beautiful and healthy smile!

Children’s Orthodontics

Children as young as 3 years old can benefit from early treatment. Feel free to bring your child in for an evaluation of their teeth and bite. We will be able to determine if your child will benefit from our early or interceptive orthodontic program. We will be happy to discuss treatment options with you such as “myofunctional orthodontics”.

Additional Types of Orthodontics

Invisalign Teen & Invisalign Adult

If you have always wanted perfect straight teeth without the embarrassment of having braces, Invisalign may be your answer. Invisalign is available for teens and for adults. With Invisalign you can get a healthy smile without people noticing you’re going through treatment. Invisalign treatments consist of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. As you replace each aligner, which has been individually manufactured and customized for your teeth, your teeth will move slowly into place until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your dentist.

Monofunctional Orthodontics for Children

Myofunctional orthodontic therapy is the earliest phase of our holistic approach to beautiful broad smiles in children. The treatment involves identifying and managing the factors that lead to improper facial growth in children to ultimately create a more beautiful face and proper teeth alignment. With myofunctional orthodontics, we can naturally guide optimal facial growth and have the teeth move in the right position.

Eruption Guidance Orthodontics

Eruption Guidance is an orthodontic technique that guides the permanent teeth into position as they are erupting. This technique is kind, simple and comfortable as compared to traditional braces. These appliances are soft, comfortable, and worn for one hour per day, plus overnight.

Non-Extraction Orthodontics

Non-extraction orthodontics is a popular choice for patients who wish to straighten teeth without having to remove any natural permanent teeth. During non-extraction orthodontic treatment, your custom orthodontic treatments will correct tooth crowding by guiding the growth and development of the jaws to an appropriate size to accommodate all of the permanent teeth. This may include the use of functional appliances (much like retainers) to non-surgically achieve a beautiful broad smile. Non-extraction orthodontics also may allow patients to spend less time in braces. All these things can be done with minimal or no discomfort and without surgery.

Propel Orthodontics

In Browne Goetz & Miraglia PC’s continuous effort to provide the best orthodontic care for our patients, we are excited to include PROPEL technology in our practice. PROPEL is a technique that stimulates bone remodeling, allowing the teeth to move faster and more predictably into their ideal position. This innovative technology allows your dentist to finish your orthodontic treatment more effectively and efficiently. This means less time in treatment for both patients in traditional braces or using Invisalign aligners. PROPEL works with the patient’s own biology by stimulating the bone surrounding the teeth. Patients will finish their treatment with exceptional results in less time and with fewer treatment visits. Dr. Ben Miraglia was proud to be involved in the early clinical trials of the PROPEL techniques and has published several articles on orthodontic treatment involving the PROPEL technique. Dr. Miraglia lectures nationally on the PROPEL accelerated orthodontic technique.
